Intentions & Goals
Productivity isn't doing more. It's doing what you intend to do. So before any plan or list — what do you intend to have, do, or be, in each role of your life?
Keep it in your own words. "Finish the deck by Friday" counts. "Be more patient with the kids" counts. One line per intention is plenty — this isn't about goal formulas, it's about knowing what you're aiming at.
How to use this tool
- Find your roles below — they carry over from Roles & Identity, or add them fresh.
- Add an intention under a role — what do you intend to have, do, or be there?
- Add a time piece if it helps — a deadline (by Friday), a rhythm (daily), a duration (20 minutes), or a horizon (this year). Skip it freely.
Your roles, your intentions
What happens with this: these intentions are the raw material of every plan you make — the week gets planned against them, the year gets aimed by them, and "was I productive?" becomes a question you can actually answer: did I do what I intended?
