From stuck to launched.
One-on-one coaching for the young adult who can’t get moving. We build direction, daily structure and independence, and work toward a real first step: a job, a program or school.
- One-on-one coaching, led by Scott Treas, MA, LPC
- Online, or in person in Littleton, CO
- Two stages with a checkpoint, so no one commits blind
- About 9 months, paced around school, work and holidays
- ADHD-informed, built around how they think
- Their program, with family as involved as they’d like
Every plan is different. We’ll map yours, and the investment, on a free call.
Sound familiar?
It’s rarely laziness. Most stuck teens are caught in a loop: overwhelmed by big decisions, afraid of getting it wrong, so they avoid, and the next step feels even bigger.
What we build together
Direction
A path they choose, work, a program or school, and a reason it matters to them.
Structure
A simple daily operating system that gets things done without anyone nagging.
A real first step
Applications sent, a job started or enrollment done. Not just a plan on paper.
Independence
Routines and follow-through they own, so it lasts after coaching ends.
How it works
Two stages, with a checkpoint in between. You commit to the first stage only. At the checkpoint we decide together whether to keep going, and if you stop, you keep everything you’ve built.
Foundation
Get to know how they think: strengths, interests and what’s really in the way. Choose a direction worth moving toward, and build a simple daily system that fits their brain.
Go, adjust or stop
We look honestly at what’s changed and choose the next step together. No pressure to continue.
Launch
Take the first step for real, whether that’s a job search, an application or enrollment, with coaching when it gets hard. Then hand the system over so they run it on their own.
Sessions are paced around real life, so finals, travel and holidays don’t break the plan. Along the way we use the same direction and planning tools we use with adults, and the Job Search Accelerator’s playbook when it’s time to apply.
What’s included
- One-on-one coaching sessions, scheduled around real life
- A strengths and ADHD profile, so the plan fits how they think
- A personal daily system for getting things done
- A written Launch Plan at the checkpoint
- Job Search Accelerator course access, if work is the path
- A handoff session, so it keeps going after coaching
Where parents fit
This is your son or daughter’s program, and it only sticks if it’s theirs. Coaching is their space. Parents are welcome at the kickoff and the checkpoint if your son or daughter would like you there, and we agree together, up front, on what gets shared. No surprises for anyone.
“What if they won’t do it?”
It’s the question every parent asks, and it’s why the program starts with one stage. No one signs up for nine months on hope. If it isn’t clicking, the checkpoint is where everyone sees it and decides what’s next. And if your teen isn’t ready to talk to anyone yet, start with a call for you. We’ll help you think through how to bring it up.
A good fit if

Something else fits better if
