Caleb Elder, MA, LPC

Hi, I’m Caleb. My mission is to empower and support children, teens and young adults on their journey towards flouring personal, relational, and vocational life.

I am passionate about standing alongside others as they begin to take courageous steps towards facing the past, engaging with the present, or moving towards the future. I firmly believe that each person has the capacity to flourish in life with the right support. As a clinically trained counselor, I am equipped to listen, encourage, and help you find solutions to the problems that seem to be holding you back.

MY STORY

I have always loved solving problems and my childhood was full of brain teasers and board games that always captured my attention. As young adult, I pursued a bachelors degree in engineering and enjoyed solving problems using numbers and science. As a counselor, I do my absolute best to help you identify the specific problems are that you are facing and collaborate with you to find creative and effective solutions. My own journey of switching areas of study, and later career fields, has taught me important lessons about the critical nature of personal values and living a congruent life.

I also have spent years working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a variety of intellectual and developmental disabilities. I count myself really blessed by these experiences as they have reshaped how I understand what is really valuable and important in life. I think it is crucial for each person to have access to mental healthcare and vocational support that values the unique gifts they bring to the table.

I have extensive experience with a variety of cultures having spent most of my childhood abroad. As a result, I greatly enjoy traveling and eating foods from all over the world. As much as I love the rest of the world, Colorado is my home. My favorite weekends are spent in the mountains where you will most likely find me summiting the highest peaks I can find!

I know how powerful experiences can be, in both a positive and a negative way. I am here to be a positive experience, to give you the support you need to overcome the effects of the negative experiences that so often hold us back from achieving our full potential and flourishing.
