Readiness Check

An honest look at where you are before we start building.

💡 What This Is

Change is hard. And before we can help you move forward, we need to understand where you actually are — not where you think you should be.

This isn't a test. There are no right answers. Your coach uses this to understand what they're working with — so they can meet you where you are, not where the program assumes you are.

Be honest. That's the only instruction that matters.

🎯 The Change You Want Start here
Be specific. "Get a job" is a direction, not a change. "Land a project management role in tech after 8 years in education" is a change.
Importance · Willing · Able Rate yourself honestly

Three dimensions that tell your coach where to focus first. Most people are strong in one or two and weaker in another — that's normal and useful. Rate yourself honestly on each.

Why are you doing this? What's at stake if it doesn't happen?
1 = I could take it or leave it  ·  10 = This has to happen
1 — Not important10 — Has to happen

Willing is about motivation and commitment — are you actually ready to do the work, even when it's uncomfortable?

Able is about capability — do you have (or can you build) the strategy, skills, and tools to execute your search effectively?

✏️ Processing Implications of your scores

Your scores tell a story. These questions help you make sense of it — and give your coach something real to work with in Session 1.

Sometimes the number we put down reveals something we hadn't quite admitted to ourselves yet.
Whether it's Importance, Willing, or Able — if one is lagging, what's the real-world impact of that gap?
Don't overthink it — your first answer is usually the right one.
Anything the scores don't capture — context, circumstances, what's been hard to say out loud.

Your coach reviews this before Session 1.
The more honest you are here, the more useful that first call will be.
