INTERVIEW GAMEPLAN: PREP PROTOCOL
Ninety minutes. Six steps. Prepared.
Preparation is not a feeling — it’s a procedure, and a procedure has steps, a time-box, and a finish line. Six steps, about ninety minutes, run inside a normal search block as a Mission Card — two days before the interview, never the night before. And here’s the relief: most of this work already exists. If this employer is on your Targeted Employer List, your research from earlier in the program is step one — this is assembly, not creation. One card per interview. When the card is full and you’ve said it out loud once, you are prepared — everything after that is the anxiety talking.
When the card is full and you’ve said it out loud once — you are prepared. Close the laptop.
Run the full protocol once this week — for your next real interview, or a practice target from your Plan A list, so the machinery exists before it’s needed. Schedule it as a Mission Card inside a normal search block. Print the card the day before: your wants, your titles, and your questions come with you — scripts stay home.
